When I Think of a Sensual Vacation...

I visualize warm white sand, clean and clear water, sun kissing my skin, beautiful sunsets, outdoor cafes, beautiful botanical gardens, strategically placed water fountains, steamy night clubs to arouse the libido for a night filled electric sensuality and fun. I want a romantic place that is sensual and soothing with some raw nightlife action. Some ying to the yang, you could say. I'm going to go and look for some hot spots that I think would be fun for me and report back! Feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments area.

AOL's Tip on Getting a Five Star Hotel For Less!

Get in touch with the concierge
"Get in touch with your hotel’s concierge by sending a letter or email", says Claire Howard-Jones, Head of Marketing at online travel agent ebookers.com. "They will be more aware of your stay and if you mention you are there for a special occasion, you are more likely to get special treatment".

Know when to go
Choosing when you travel can make a big difference to the price tag when you're booking a luxury hotel stay. "Brussels is a hot destination because weekend rates in the city are exceptional," according to Andrew Pumphrey, Marketing & Content Director for LateRooms. "The city has a high ratio of business travellers to leisure bookings, so many hotels offer excellent deals making this an ideal weekend break destination," he says. Similarly, booking midweek for destinations with a high number of weekend travellers, can make big savings. For more information, visit: Late rooms

Last minute tactics
If you're able to travel on the spur of the moment, phoning up for last minute deals can work wonders for your budget. Hotels will quite often lower their rates at the last minute if it means selling empty rooms, so always ask for the best rate when you book late.

Book out of season
Luxury ski chalet company Descent International recommends travelling out of season to make the most of luxury accommodation at bargain prices. Their Chesa Falcun chalet in Klosters costs up to £51,000 a week over winter, but can be hired for £9000 during any week in the summer. The chalet accommodates 12 people, working out at around £750 per person for luxury accommodation in a prime location. For more information, visit: Descent

Collect airmiles
Airmiles can be collected on your everyday spending and used to book flights and accomodation. You can collect them by using credit cards such as the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card, shopping with Tesco and filling up your car at Shell garages. You can also collect airmiles by shopping with over 100 online retailers including johnlewis.com, eBay.co.uk and Comet, simply by clicking through to the retailers' websites via Air miles

Haggle
If you're phoning a hotel direct to book a room, try your luck at haggling. Most hotels offer special deals and discounted rates for certain periods, so always enquire - what have you got to loose?
